The Wedding
We are so happy to invite you to our wedding.
We are getting married and we can’t wait to celebrate with each and every one of you. We are doing the deed on September 19th, 2025. As of this writing, that date is over a year out and plans are subject to change. Aren’t they always? We’ll keep this website updated as details emerge.
The plan is to perform the ceremony in the pavilion at High Cliff State Park, right by observation tower. We intend for this to be a smaller affair, but everybody is welcome. We’ll know more about this as the date gets closer.
We have booked the West Edison Rivery for the reception and it will be a semi-formal-to-formal affair. Come in whatever makes you feel the best! We love your kids. Bring them! There will be live music by Big Mouth and we’re still figuring out the food situation. We have, however, figured out the bar. We plan on having an open bar all night. Plan accordingly.

The reception will at the West Edison Rivery in the flats of Appleton from 4pm to 10:30pm. There is parking available on-site, but we encourage ride-shares and walking. The venue is within walking distance from the Hilton Hotel.

The ceremony at High Cliff State Park. We will be at the pavilion near the observation tower. This is about 12 miles from the Paper Valley hotel, so you’ll need a vehicle to get there.

For those of you coming from out of town, we recommend either the Hilton Paper Valley in downtown Appleton or with our room block at the Clarion Inn.

The Hilton Paper Valley does not set aside room blocks, so if you would like to be near another guest please mention this to your booking agent. The Hilton offers shuttles from the Appleton Airport to the hotel. Call Hilton when you know your flight times and they will get you on their shuttle schedule. Downtown Appleton is easily walkable and Uber/Lyft friendly, so we recommend this hotel if you’d like to be where the action is!
We recommend booking this hotel before May 2025 when the NFL Home Game Schedule is released. If there is a home Packer game this weekend, the prices will increase!

This hotel is perfect for kiddos! It has a large indoor saltwater pool, hot tub, and arcade/game room and is connected to a restaurant. There is, however, no shuttle provided from the Appleton Airport. To reserve a room, call 920-731-4141 and say you are booking for the Staelens-Farrell Wedding to get the reduced rate.
